Be not deceived: evil companions corrupt good character.

He that walks with wise men shall be wise, but the companion of fools shall be destroyed.

But now I have written unto you not to associate with anyone calling himself a brother if he is a fornicator or covetous or an idolater or a railer or a drunkard or an extortioner; with such a one do not even eat.

Go from the presence of the foolish man when thou dost not perceive in him the lips of knowledge.

I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with hypocrites. I have hated the congregation of evil doers and will not sit with the wicked.

Blessed is the man that does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law he meditates day and night. The ungodly are not so but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

Do not meddle with an angry man, and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways and get a snare to thy soul.

My son, if sinners entice thee, do not consent. If they say, Come with us, let us lay in wait for blood; let us ambush the innocent without cause.

Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

The evil man flatters his neighbour and leads him into the way that is not good.

Whosoever keeps the law is a wise son, but he that is a companion of gluttons shames his father.

Lay hands suddenly on no one, neither be partaker of the sins of others; keep thyself pure.
