11 Bible Verses about Being A Soldier

No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.

Therefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.

Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

[To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] Blessed is he that considers the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and you will not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: you will restore his bed in his sickness.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me: you shall stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand shall save me.

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
