Wherefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive in meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. And become doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding yourselves. Because, if anyone is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror;

as new-born babes, long ye for the spiritual, unadulterated milk, that thereby ye may grow unto salvation,

For the word of God is living, and effectual, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to a dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

And receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

if anyone speaks, as uttering the oracles of God; if anyone ministers, ministering as of the strength which God supplieth; that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to Whom is the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
