And become doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding yourselves. Because, if anyone is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror;
as new-born babes, long ye for the spiritual, unadulterated milk, that thereby ye may grow unto salvation,
For the word of God is living, and effectual, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to a dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
