And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, because no one buyeth their merchandise any more;

For, as it is written, "the name of God is on your account blasphemed among the gentiles."

Therefore I say to you, All manner of sin and evilspeaking will be forgiven to men; but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this world, or in the world to come.

Truly do I say to you, All sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme; but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath no forgiveness forever, but is exposed to everlasting sin.

And every one that shall speak a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but to him that hath blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven.

It is enough for the disciple to be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they so call those of his household!

and having blindfolded him, they asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that struck thee? And many other things did they scoffingly say against him.

If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you.

Then the highpriest rent his garments, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? See! ye have now heard the blasphemy.

And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemy; and power was given to him to work fortytwo months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

and men were scorched with great heat. And men blasphemed the name of God, who had the power over these plagues; and they repented not, to give him glory.

Then he began to curse and to swear, saying, I do not know the man. And immediately a cock crew.

and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it up in three days, save thyself, if thou art the Son of God, and come down from the cross. So also the chief priests, mocking, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others, cannot he save himself? He is the king of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in him. read more.

Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
