Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, and there shall be food in my house, and prove me now in this, said the LORD of the hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will reprehend the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of the ground; neither shall the vine in the field abort, said the LORD of the hosts. And all the Gentiles shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, said the LORD of the hosts.

Nevertheless he did not leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Honour thy father and thy mother that thy days may be lengthened upon the land which the LORD thy God gives thee.

Behold, sons are a heritage of the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is to be desired. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the young men. Happy is the man that has filled his quiver with them: he shall not be ashamed when he speaks with the enemies in the gate.

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things.)
