I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you. I will make your name great. You will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you. I will curse whoever curses you. All the people on earth will be blessed through you.

Abraham will definitely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him.

I will give you as many descendants as there are stars in the sky. I will give your descendants all of this land. They will be a blessing to every nation on earth.

God also said: I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and an assembly of nations will come from you. Kings shall come forth from you.

Joseph, all his brothers, and that entire generation died. The children of Israel had many children. They became so numerous and strong that the land was filled with them.

I have given you this land. Go in and possess the land Jehovah pledged to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and to their descendants (offspring) after them.'

You must keep the regulations and commandments I commanded you today. Then all will go well with you and with your children after you. You may prolong your days on the earth that Jehovah your God gives you for all time.

Obey every commandment I command you today. Then you may be strong and go in and possess the land you will cross over to possess. Then you may prolong your days on the land Jehovah swore to give to your fathers and their descendants. It is a land flowing with milk and honey. But the land you go to possess is a land of hills and valleys. It drinks water from the rain from the clouds in the sky. Jehovah your God cares about this land. Jehovah watches over it day after day and year by year.

The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He did not say to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to your seed, which is Christ.

You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant that God made with our fathers. He said to Abraham: 'All the families of the earth will be blessed in your seed.' God raised up his servant and sent him to you first. He sent him to bless you and to turn every one of you from your wicked ways.

If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.
