Later on, Hilkiah the high priest informed Shaphan the scribe, "I've discovered the Book of the Law in the LORD's Temple." Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he began to read it. For this reason, the anger of the LORD raged against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that were written in this book.

Moreover, the LORD will inflict you with illnesses and plagues that were not written in this Book of the Law, until you are exterminated.
