Speak now to the people and let each man demand of his neighbour and each woman of her neighbour, vessels of silver and of gold.
And he said, Go, borrow vessels from all thy neighbours, empty vessels; borrow not a few.
There were also some that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy grain because of the famine.
And I will give this people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians, and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty; but every woman shall demand of her neighbour and of her that sojourns in her house, vessels of silver and vessels of gold and clothing; and ye shall put them upon your sons and upon your daughters, and ye shall spoil Egypt.
And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there ye shall find a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he enters in. And ye shall say unto the husband of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber where I shall eat the passover lamb with my disciples? And he shall show you a large upper room furnished; there make ready.
