you who received the law as delivered by angels, and yet did not keep it."

He answered them, "And why do you transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point has become guilty of all of it. For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," said also, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
