Then he saith to his disciples, The harvest indeed is great, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers for his harvest.

Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment of the Lord; but I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. I think, then, that it is well, on account of the impending distress, for a man to remain as he is.

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, as Christ also loved you, and gave himself for you an offering and a sacrifice to God, of a sweet odor.
