Because, "All flesh is as grass, and all its glory as the flower of grass; the grass withered, and its flower fell off; but the word of the Lord abideth for ever;" and this is the word which was preached to you.

Let the brother of low degree glory in that he is exalted; but the rich, in that he is made low; because as the flower of the grass he will pass away.
