And on the third day there was a marriagefeast in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there. And both Jesus and his disciples were invited to the feast.

And they ran both together; and the other disciple outran Peter, and came first to the tomb.

And Peter and John were going up together to the temple, at the hour of prayer, which is the ninth hour.

And while they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them. Then, after they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

And what was said pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus a proselyte of Antioch, whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

And Ananias went away, and entered the house; and putting his hands on him, he said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus who appeared to thee in the way thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayst receive sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

And he took a loaf, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body, which is given for you; this do in remembrance of me.

and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, This is my body, which is for you; this do in remembrance of me. In like manner also the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant, in my blood; this do, as oft as ye drink, in remembrance of me.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

The first covenant, then, had indeed ordinances of religious service, and a worldly sanctuary. and to offer a sacrifice, according to what is directed in the law of the Lord: "A pair of turtle doves, or two young pigeons."

Go, and make all nations my disciples, baptizing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;

But Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized to the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
