Then were brought to him little children, that he should lay his hands on them and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

But Jesus seeing it was much displeased and said to them, Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. And taking them up in his arms, he put his hands upon them and blessed them.

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes.
Yet in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, that your names are written in heaven. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
Behold your calling brethren: that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world, to shame the wise, and the weak things of the world, to shame the things that are mighty: And the base things of the world, and things that are despised, hath God chosen; yea, things that are not, to bring to nought the things that are; That no flesh may glory before him.read more.
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who is made by God unto us wisdom,
And Jesus calling to him a little child, set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say to you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.read more.
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.
And taking a little child, he set him in the midst of them, and embracing him he said to them, Whosoever shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not only me, but him that sent me.
And Jesus seeing the thought of their heart, took a little child, and sat him by him, And said to them, whosoever shall receive this child in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
and he that entertaineth me, entertaineth him that sent me. He that entertaineth a prophet in the name of a prophet, shall receive a prophet's reward: and he that entertaineth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man, shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whosoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that in heaven their angels continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
Brethren, be not children in understanding: in wickedness be ye as infants, but in understanding be ye grown men.
and all evil-speakings, As new born babes desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious:
When I was a child, I talked as a child, I understood as a child, I reasoned as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For every one that useth milk is unexperienced in the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, whomsoever the Lord our God shall call.

In like manner, ye younger, submit yourselves to the elder, and be ye all subject to each other. Be ye cloathed with humility; for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
