For the grace of God has appeared, with salvation for all people, instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, while we wait for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a special people, eager to do good works. Say these things, and encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.

Now finally, all of you should be like-minded and sympathetic, should love believers, and be compassionate and humble, not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you can inherit a blessing. Show family affection to one another with brotherly love. Outdo one another in showing honor.

And walk in love, as the Messiah also loved us and gave Himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.

Let brotherly love continue.

This is My command: Love one another as I have loved you.

Finally then, brothers, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received from us how you must walk and please God—as you are doing—do so even more.

Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Now as you excel in everything—faith, speech, knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love for us—excel also in this grace.

Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise—dwell on these things.

But you, man of God, run from these things,
and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith,

See to it that no one repays evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.

Therefore, dear friends, since we have such promises, let us cleanse ourselves from every impurity of the flesh and spirit, completing our sanctification in the fear of God.

Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Therefore, to have legal disputes against one another is already a moral failure for you. Why not rather put up with injustice? Why not rather be cheated?

Instead, I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write to you again about this is no trouble for me and is a protection for you.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the Emperor.

When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is: fear God and keep His commands, because this is for all humanity.

And He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the One who died for them and was raised.

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

You have become her children when you do good and aren't frightened by anything alarming. Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives with understanding of their weaker nature yet showing them honor as co-heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.

Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.

I don’t say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.

Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children.

but, as the One who called you is holy, you also are to be holy in all your conduct; for it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.

For I have given you an example that you also should do just as I have done for you.

For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in His steps. Dear friends, although I was eager to write you about the salvation we share, I found it necessary to write and exhort you to contend for the faith that was delivered to the saints once for all.

so that the genuineness of your faith-more valuable than gold, which perishes though refined by fire-may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous ones;
praise from the upright is beautiful.

yet I will triumph in Yahweh;
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!

In every way I’ve shown you that by laboring like this, it is necessary to help the weak and to keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, for He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality.

In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

or stealing, but demonstrating utter faithfulness, so that they may adorn the teaching of God our Savior in everything.

You are My friends if you do what I command you.

we encouraged, comforted, and implored each one of you to walk worthy of God, who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

so that you may walk properly in the presence of outsiders and not be dependent on anyone.

Stay away from every kind of evil.

Both were righteous in God’s sight, living without blame according to all the commands and requirements of the Lord.

For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden,

so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

Since we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light—

Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received,

Everyone must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are instituted by God. So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God's command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do good and you will have its approval. read more.
For government is God's servant to you for good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For government is God's servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong. Therefore, you must submit, not only because of wrath, but also because of your conscience. And for this reason you pay taxes, since the [authorities] are God's public servants, continually attending to these tasks. Pay your obligations to everyone: taxes to those you owe taxes, tolls to those you owe tolls, respect to those you owe respect, and honor to those you owe honor.

because whatever has been born of God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world: our faith. And who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those in Christ Jesus,

Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in a new way of life.

instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age,

save others by snatching them from the fire; have mercy on others but with fear, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
