Be ye imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.

For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:

And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ, and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith: that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;read more.

he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.

But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.

And ye became imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit;

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household!

The disciple is not above his teacher: but every one when he is perfected shall be as his teacher.

And as they went on the way, a certain man said unto him, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. And he said unto another, Follow me. And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.

If any man cometh unto me, and hateth not his own father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Whosoever doth not bear his own cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Now this he spake, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

And there arose also a contention among them, which of them was accounted to be greatest. And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles have lordship over them; and they that have authority over them are called Benefactors. But ye'shall not be'so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.

not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others. Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.

Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

These things I command you, that ye may love one another.
