Be followers of me as I also am of Christ.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done.

For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he may be a first-born among many brothers;

And he gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edification of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

But for the same reason also I consider all things to be a loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and consider them worthless that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having my righteousness by the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness of God by the faith, that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the participation of his sufferings, being conformed to his death,read more.

He that says he continues in him, ought also himself so to walk as he walked.

And we all with unvailed face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same likeness, from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

For they who are according to the flesh mind the things of the flesh, but they who are according to the spirit the things of the spirit; for the minding of the flesh is death, but the minding of the Spirit is life and peace. It is sufficient for the disciple to be as his teacher, and the servant as his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they call the members of his family by that name.

A disciple is not above his teacher, but every perfect one will be as his teacher.

And as they were traveling on the way, one said to him, I will follow you wherever you go. and he that does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

Christ therefore having suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

And he sat down and called the twelve, and said to them, If any one wishes to be first, he shall he last of all, and a servant of all.

And there was a contention among them as to which of them should be the greatest. And he said to them, The kings of the nations exercise lordship over them; and those having power are called their benefactors. But you shall not be so. But let the greater among you be as the younger, and the chief as he that serves.

If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done.

and let each consider not his own interests, but also those of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

By this we have known love, because he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

I give you a new commandment to love another, as I have loved you that you also should love one another.

These things I charge you, that you love one another.
