Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

He that saith he abideth in him, ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

For they that are according to the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh: but they that are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth me, is not worthy of me.

If any man cometh to me, and hateth not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

This he spoke, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith to him, Follow me.

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

But it shall not be so among you: but whoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

But so it shall not be among you: but whoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: And whoever of you will be the chief, shall be servant of all. For even the son of man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me: for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest to your souls.

And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith to them, If any man desireth to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. And he said to them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them, are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

By this we perceive the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

A new commandment I give to you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

These things I command you, that ye love one another.
