Whoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of [sinning against] (falsely representing) the body and blood of the Lord. Let a man examine himself before he eats of that bread, and drinks of that cup. For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning (not judging rightly) the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
