But Paul did not think him a fit person to take with them, who had withdrawn from them from Pamphylia, and no longer went with them to the service. So there grew up a sudden quarrel, insomuch that they separated from each other: and Barnabas, taking Mark with him, sailed away to Cyprus:

For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren, by those of the family of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I observe, that one and another of you saith, I am indeed of Paul; but I of Apollos; but I of Cephas; but I am of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptised into the name of Paul?

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed by one another.
