And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

And the angels who kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with you, Jesus, you Son of God? have you come here to torment us before the time?

So the demons besought him, saying, If you cast us out, allow us to go away into the herd of swine.

And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion: because many demons were entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the abyss.
