And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved to judgment;

And the angels who kept not their first state, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day.

And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

So the demons besought him, saying, If thou expellest us, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many demons had entered into him. And they besought him, that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
