Now Peter was sitting without in the hall, and one of the maids came to him and said, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee:
But Peter answered and said to Him, though they should all be offended in thee, yet will I never be offended.
but if we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

But there were indeed false prophets among the people of old, as there will be also among you false teachers, who will privately introduce pernicious heresies, denying even the Lord that bought them, and bringing upon themselves swift destruction,
But I say unto you, Whosoever shall own me before men, the Son of man will also own him before the angels of God. But he, that disowneth me before men, shall be disowned before the angels of God.
