Therefore watch, praying all the time, that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things which are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

through which precious and greatest promises have been given unto us; that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world through lust.

for they proclaim concerning what kind of reception we had unto you; and how you turned to God from the idols, to serve the true and the living God, and to await his Son out of the heavens, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus the one delivering us from the wrath to come.

And they will never hunger or thirst any more; neither will the sun, or any heat, fall on them: because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherdize them, and guide them to the fountains of the waters of life; and God will wipe every tear out of their eyes.

No temptation has overtaken you, except that which is human: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation, He will also make a way of escape, in order that you may be able to bear it.
