And you shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man you shall not go: Lest you learn his ways, and get a snare to your soul.

But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk you not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things beforehand, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
