Beloved, while giving all diligence to write to you of the common salvation, I was constrained to write to you, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith once for all delivered to the saints. For there crept in stealthily certain men, who of old were set forth for this condemnation, ungodly men, changing the grace of our God into lasciviousness; and denying the only Master and our Lord Jesus Christ.

but I fear lest, by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and purity which is toward Christ. Because many deceivers went out into the world, who confess not Jesus Christ as coming in flesh. This is the deceiver and the Anti-Christ.

Beware, lest there should be any one who makes a spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceits, according to the tradition of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to Christ;

If ye died with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as if living in the world, do ye subject yourselves to decrees, "Handle not, taste not, touch not," (which are all for destruction in the using), according to the commandments and teachings of men?read more.

In this ye know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ hath come in flesh is of God; and every spirit that confesses not Jesus is not of God; and this is the spirit of the Anti-Christ, of which ye have heard that it is coming, and now it is in the world already.
