And he, looking steadily at him, and becoming affrighted, said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Thy prayers and thine alms have come up for a memorial before God.

And Ananias, hearing these words, fell down, and expired. And great fear came on all that heard of it.
And the disciples hearing it, fell on their face, and were exceedingly afraid.
And the centurion and they who with him were watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and what was taking place, were exceedingly afraid, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

But as he was saying this, there came a cloud and overshadowed them; and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
And this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who dwelt at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
