And they bring to him one that was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and beseech him to put his hand upon him. And taking him aside from the multitude, he put his fingers into his ears, and spitting, touched his tongue. And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

What therefore sayest t`ou? This they spoke tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooping down, wrote with his finger on the ground.

The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I see the print of the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the prints of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands, and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side, and be not faithless, but believing.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.

For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders, but they will not move them with their finger.

And he said, Wo to you lawyers also; for ye load men with burthens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burthens with one of your fingers.
