Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; Thou that sittest above the cherubim, shine forth.
But his bow abode in strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong, By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, (From thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel),
For he is our God, And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To-day, oh that ye would hear his voice!

Because ye thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad; therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.
Woe unto the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith Jehovah.
