The LORD has made everything for its own end?yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.

The counsel of the LORD stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

"I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.

The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he has executed, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days you shall understand it perfectly.

There are many plans in a man's heart, but the LORD's counsel will prevail.

Behold, he snatches away. Who can hinder him? Who will ask him, 'What are you doing?'

But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? What his soul desires, even that he does.

Take counsel together, and it will be brought to nothing; speak the word, and it will not stand: for God is with us."

The LORD, how many are your works. In wisdom have you made them all. The earth is full of your riches.

having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire, to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved One,

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, Lord GOD. For your word's sake, and according to your own heart, you have worked all this greatness, to make your servant know it.

But as it is written, No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined the things which God has prepared for those who love him. But to us God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

The secret things belong to the LORD our God; but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ; which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

For I know the plans that I have for you,' says the LORD, 'plans for your welfare, and not for calamity, to give you hope and a future.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Yet the LORD was pleased to crush him and make him ill. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring. He shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Jesus therefore said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil. You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled."

And Jesus answered them, "The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

Now before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his time had come that he would depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you;

making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, in him;

"Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Jesus whom you crucified."

And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

in these last days has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds. He is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification for sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have.

He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire." He came to the disciples, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "What, could you not watch with me for one hour? Watch and pray, that you do not enter into temptation. Again, a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, "My Father, if this cannot pass away from me unless I drink it, your desire be done."

He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him. He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire."

saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."

Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.

I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the One who sent me.

In the days of his flesh, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Although he was a Son, he learned obedience by the things which he suffered.

Then I said, 'Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.'"

This is the will of my Father who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
