Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, he hath done in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all deeps;

But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he pleased.

declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;

And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of the heavens, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Thou wilt say to me then, Why does he yet find fault? for who resists his purpose? Aye, but thou, O man, who art thou that answerest again to God? Shall the thing formed say to him that has formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Or has not the potter authority over the clay, out of the same lump to make one vessel to honour, and another to dishonour?

for nothing shall be impossible with God.

I know that thou canst do everything, and that thou canst be hindered in no thought of thine.

But Jesus, looking on them, said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

But to him that is able to do far exceedingly above all which we ask or think, according to the power which works in us,

They that strive with Jehovah shall be broken to pieces; in the heavens will he thunder upon them. Jehovah will judge the ends of the earth; and he will give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

but if it be from God, ye will not be able to put them down, lest ye be found also fighters against God.

Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth!

For Jehovah, the Most High, is terrible, a great king over all the earth.

And I said, Woe unto me! for I am undone; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of hosts.

I am Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? For to thee doth it appertain; for among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

And Jehovah shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Jehovah, and his name one.

Now to the King of the ages, the incorruptible, invisible, only God, honour and glory to the ages of ages. Amen.

which in its own time the blessed and only Ruler shall shew, the King of those that reign, and Lord of those that exercise lordship;

But if thou wilt go, do it; be strong for the battle: God will make thee fall before the enemy, for there is with God power to help and to cast down.

He has wrought strength with his arm; he has scattered haughty ones in the thought of their heart. He has put down rulers from thrones, and exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent away the rich empty.

but bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep the coming feast at Jerusalem; I will return to you again, if God will: and he sailed away from Ephesus.

instead of your saying, If the Lord should so will and we should live, we will also do this or that.
