But he that heareth and observeth not, is like a man that built an house upon the ground without any foundation, which the flood beat violently upon, and immediately it fell down, and the ruin of that house was great.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand as a prince and saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins:
For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus: who gave himself a ransom for all, a testimony to be published in due time,
For the grace of God, that bringeth salvation, hath appeared to all men; teaching us that denying ungodliness, and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and righteously, and piously in this present world; looking for the blessed hope, and glorious appearance of the great God, and our Saviour, Jesus Christ:read more.

Of this man's seed, according to the promise, hath God raised up to Israel Jesus the Saviour:
And when Jesus had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished. And reclining his head, He yielded up the ghost.
And Jesus answering said unto him, Permit it now; for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.
Jesus saith unto them, My food is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish his work.
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and is become the first-fruits of them that slept: for as by man came death, by man cometh also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.
And there is salvation in no other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we can be saved.
To Him do all the prophets bear witness, that whosoever believeth on Him shall receive the forgiveness of their sins through his name.
and bringing them out, he said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thine house.

And as I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself, that where I am, ye may also be.
who said, Ye men of Galilee, why do ye stand gazing up to heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in the manner ye have seen Him going into heaven.
Because He hath fixed a day, in which He will judge the world in righteousness, by that man whom He hath appointed thereto; having given assurance of it to all men, by raising Him from the dead.
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with acclamation, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are living and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we for ever be with the Lord.
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing, in his kingdom;
Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye shall see Him, even they that pierced Him: and all the tribes of the earth shall lament before Him. Even so, Amen!
For behold I come quickly: happy is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.
