But this He spake concerning the Spirit, Whom those who believed on Him were about to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
but these have been written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that, believing, ye may have life in His name.
Be it known to you, brethren, that through This One is proclaimed to you forgiveness of sins; and in Him every one who believes is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

fully testifying, both to Jews and Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus.
Draw nigh to God, and He wild draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded. Be wretched, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness! Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

But, when they believed Philip proclaiming the glad tidings concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were being immersed, both men and women.

If, therefore, I, 'The Lord,' and 'The Teacher,' washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet; for I gave you an example, that, as I did to you, ye also should do.
Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus;
For to this were ye called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow His steps;
"If ye love Me, ye will keep My commandments;
He who has My commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves Me; and he that loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him."
If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love.
And in this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, "I have known Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whosoever keeps His word, truly in him the love of God has been perfected: in this we know that we are in Him.read more.
He who says that he is abiding in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have confidence toward God; and whatsoever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments, and do the things that are pleasing before Him.
