But Jesus seeing it, was indignant, and said to them, Suffer the little children to come to me; forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say to you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall in no wise enter into it.read more.
And having taken them in his arms, having laid his hands on them, he blessed them.
And they brought to him also infants that he might touch them, but the disciples when they saw it rebuked them. But Jesus calling them to him said, Suffer little children to come to me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say to you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
And the child grew and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom, and God's grace was upon him.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep:

Therefore having been justified on the principle of faith, we have peace towards God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.
He who, yea, has not spared his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him grant us all things?
I thank my God always about you, in respect of the grace of God given to you in Christ Jesus; that in everything ye have been enriched in him, in all word of doctrine, and all knowledge, (according as the testimony of the Christ has been confirmed in you,)
and all things are of the God who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and given to us the ministry of that reconciliation: how that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their offences; and putting in us the word of that reconciliation.
I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness is by law, then Christ has died for nothing.
But to each one of us has been given grace according to the measure of the gift of the Christ.
But our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us, and given us eternal consolation and good hope by grace, encourage your hearts, and establish you in every good work and word.
who before was a blasphemer and persecutor, and an insolent overbearing man: but mercy was shewn me because I did it ignorantly, in unbelief. But the grace of our Lord surpassingly over-abounded with faith and love, which is in Christ Jesus.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son a propitiation for our sins.
