That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we looked upon, and our hands handled, concerning the word of life,
that which we have seen and heard we announce to you, that ye also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
And Jesus answered and said to them, Go and tell John what ye hear and see.
And he answered and said to them, Go and tell John what ye have seen and heard; that the blind receive sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor good tidings are brought;
And with many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear.
Every one then that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock;
Every one that cometh to me and heareth my sayings and doeth them, I will show you whom he is like.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand;
But he that heareth and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream dashed, and it fell at once, and the ruin of that house was great.

Truly, truly do I say to you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and cometh not into condemnation, but hath passed out of death into life.
But so much the more went abroad the report concerning him; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed of their infirmities.
And he came down with them, and stood on a level place with a great multitude of his disciples, and a great crowd of the people from all Judaea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases.
Then the highpriest rent his garments, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? See! ye have now heard the blasphemy.
and said to the woman, No longer do we believe on account of what thou hast told us; for we have ourselves heard him, and know that this is in truth the Saviour of the world.
And all the publicans and the sinners were drawing near to him, to hear him.
Truly, truly do I say to you, The hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear will live.
Why askest thou me? Ask those who have heard, what I have spoken to them; behold, these know what I have said.
And the men that journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing the voice, but seeing no one.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
