But the comforter, that is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said unto you.

The God of our fathers hath raised up Jesus whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. As Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust (that He might introduce us to God) being indeed put to death in the flesh, but raised to life by the Spirit:

So the apostles and elders were assembled together to consider about this matter. And after much debate, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know that a good while ago, God, who was among us, chose that the Gentiles should hear by my mouth the word of the gospel, and believe. And God who knoweth the heart, bare witness to them, giving them the holy Spirit, as He had done also to us:

for prophecy was not delivered of old at the will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the holy Spirit.

Therefore, as the holy Ghost saith, "To-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness, when your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years:

but all these worketh that one and the same Spirit distributing to every one in particular as He sees fit.

but it is the same God who worketh them all in every one.

but if I by the Spirit of God cast out devils, then certainly the kingdom of God is come unto you.

And God wrought extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul:

But if I cast out demons by the power of God, you may be sure the kingdom of God is come unto you:

through the efficacy of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round as far as to Illyricum, I have fully declared the gospel of Christ:

Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Whom God hath raised up again, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is from God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one, who practiseth righteousness, is born of Him.

being regenerated not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth for ever.

Whosoever is born of God doth not practise sin, because his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

And so disagreeing one with another they separated, when Paul had said one word, to wit, that the holy Spirit spake rightly by Esaias the prophet to our fathers,

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long with you, and dost thou not know me? Philip, he that hath seen me, hath seen the Father: and how then dost thou say, Shew us the Father? Dost thou not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? as to the words which I speak to you, I speak them not of my self; and the Father who abideth in me, doth the works. Believe me therefore that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: at lest, believe me for the very works. read more.
Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I perform he also shall perform, and greater than these shall he do: because I am going to the Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, I will do it: that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another comforter to abide with you for ever: even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him, because He abideth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you orphans: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world shall see me no more; but ye shall see me: and because I live, ye shall live also.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. Whereas the spiritual man discerneth all things, yet is himself discerned by no one. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath set me free from the law of sin and death. For that which was impossible for the law to do, and in which it was weak through the corruption of the flesh, God by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sacrifice for sin, hath done; that is, hath condemned sin in the flesh: read more.
that the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. For they who are after the flesh, mind the things of the flesh; but they who are led by the Spirit, do mind spiritual things.

I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye will not fulfil the desire of the flesh: for the flesh desireth things contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit things contrary to the flesh: and these are opposite to each other; so that ye do not those things which ye would. But if ye be led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, fidelity, meekness, temperance: against such things there is no law. And they, that are Christ's, have crucified the flesh with it's passions and desires.

walk therefore as children of light, (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,) approving what is well-pleasing to the Lord.

not for works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the holy Spirit;

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy hath regenerated us to a lively hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

who hath of his own will begotten us by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.

Go ye therefore and instruct all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son,

and the love of God, and the communication of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

being full of the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God.
