Imperfect Nature Of Human Glory

ForAll flesh is like grass,
and all its glorylike a flower of the grass.
The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord endures forever.And this is the word that was preached as the gospel to you.
A voice was saying, “Cry out!”
Another said, “What should I cry out?”
“All humanity is grass,
and all its goodness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flowers fade
when the breath of the Lord blows on them;
indeed, the people are grass. The grass withers, the flowers fade,
but the word of our God remains forever.”
For one can see that wise men die;
foolish and stupid men also pass away.
Then they leave their wealth to others. Their graves are their eternal homes,
their homes from generation to generation,
though they have named estates after themselves.
Now if the ministry of death, chiseled in letters on stones, came with glory, so that the Israelites were not able to look directly at Moses’ face because of the glory from his face—a fading glory— how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
Do not be afraid when a man gets rich,
when the wealth of his house increases. For when he dies, he will take nothing at all;
his wealth will not follow him down.
In fact, what had been glorious is not glorious now by comparison because of the glory that surpasses it.
