and, having platted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand; and, kneeling before Him, they mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"
They answered and said to him, "If this Man were not an evil-doer, we would not have delivered Him up to you."
and, when they mocked Him, they took off the robe from Him, and put on His own garments, and led Him away to crucify Him.
And those passing by were reviling Him, wagging their heads, and saying, "Thou Who destroyest the temple and buildest it in three days, save Thyself: if Thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross." Likewise also the high priests, mocking, with the scribes and elders, were saying,read more.
