Romans 7:14-25

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do, I allow not: for I do not that which I would; but what I hate, this I do. And if I do that which I would not, I consent to the law that it is good:read more.
but now I am no more the doer of it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is in my flesh) dwelleth no good: for to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good, I find not. For I do not the good that I would; but the evil which I would not, this I do. Now if I do that which I would not, I am no more the doer of it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a kind of law, that when I would do good, evil besets me. For I delight in the law of God, as to the inward man: but I perceive another law in my body warring against the law of my mind, and captivating me to the law of sin, which is in my body. Wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from this body of death? The grace of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with my mind I serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be manifested in our body. For we, who are yet living, are always exposed to death for the sake of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So that death is wrought in us, but life in you. But having the same Spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, and therefore have I spoken," we also believe, and therefore speak: knowing that He, who raised up the Lord Jesus, will raise up us also by Jesus, and present us with you. For all these things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the gratitude of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we are not disheartened: but though our outward man decayeth, yet the inward man is renewed daily. For our short and light affliction is working out for us an infinite and eternal weight of glory, as we aim not at the things which are visible, but invisible: for those, which are visible, are temporary, but the invisible are eternal.

1 Peter 3:3-4

Whose adorning, let it not be that without, of plaiting the hair, and putting on of gold, or wearing fine clothes; but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Ephesians 3:16-19

that He would grant you, according to his glorious riches, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit, as to the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith: and be ye rooted and grounded in love, that ye may be able, with all the saints, to comprehend what is the breadth, and length, and depth, read more.
and height, and to know the love of Christ, which surpasseth knowledge; that ye may be filled according to the abundant fulness of God.
