And you killed the Prince of Life, whom God has raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

who shall change our body of humiliation so that it may be fashioned like His glorious body, according to the working of His power, even to subdue all things to Himself.

And according as we bore the image of the earthy man, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

For if we have been joined together in the likeness of His death, we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection;

And they shall deliver Him to the nations to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He shall rise again.

And as they came down from the mountain, He commanded them that they should tell no one the things that they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

But after I am raised, I will go before you into Galilee.

Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up. Then the Jews said, This temple was forty-six years building, and will you rear it up in three days? But He spoke of the temple of His body. read more.
Therefore when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

And their words seemed to them like foolishness, and they did not believe them.

But they were terrified and filled with fear, for they thought they saw a spirit. And He said to them, Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

And they went and told it to the rest. Neither did they believe those.

and returned from the tomb and told all these things to the Eleven and to the rest.

God raised up this Jesus, of which we all are witnesses.

And the apostles gave witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power. And great grace was on them all.

beginning from the baptism of John to that same day that He was taken up from us, to become a witness with us of His resurrection.

And He said to them, So it is written, and so it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures;

but God raised Him up the third day and showed Him openly,

And if Christ is not raised, your faith is foolish; you are yet in your sins.

And if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is worthless, and your faith is also worthless.

And it happened as He blessed them, He withdrew from them and was carried up into Heaven.

Afterward He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.

And saying these things, as they watched, He was taken up. And a cloud received Him out of their sight.

and when they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that He was alive.

And the angel answered and said to the women, Do not fear, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead. And, behold, He goes before you into Galilee. There you shall see Him. Lo, I have told you.

And as they were much perplexed about it, it happened that, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. And as they were afraid, and bowed their faces down to the earth, they said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?

Behold My hands and My feet, that I am He! Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see Me have.

And in the way they related the things happening, and how He had been known by them in breaking of the loaf.

And He took it and ate before them.

who was marked out the Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead;

I will declare the decree of Jehovah. He has said to Me, You are My Son; today I have begotten You.

this God has fulfilled to us their children, raising up Jesus, as also it is written in the second Psalm, "You are My Son, this day I have begotten You."

Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life.

those believing in God through Him, He who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also who is raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

Then the same day at evening, being the first of the sabbaths, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, Peace to you!

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came.

but they had certain questions about their own demon-worship, and about a certain Jesus dying, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

And if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is worthless, and your faith is also worthless. And we are also found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified of God that He raised Christ; whom He did not raise if the dead are not raised.

And when Jesus had risen early the first day of the Sabbath, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.

Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord and that He had spoken these things to her.

Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.

No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down from Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment from My Father.

For as yet they did not know the Scripture that He must rise again from the dead.

And they kept that saying within themselves, debating with one another what the rising from the dead is.

And if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is worthless, and your faith is also worthless.

And if Christ is not raised, your faith is foolish; you are yet in your sins.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Afterward He was seen by over five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain until this present day, but also some fell asleep.

Afterward He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.

And last of all He was seen by me also, as one born out of time.

And as they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and declared all the things that were done to the chief priests. And being assembled with the elders, and taking counsel, they gave enough silver to the soldiers, saying, Say that His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we slept. read more.
And if this comes to the governor's ears, we will persuade him and make you free from care. And taking the silver, they did as they were taught. And this saying was spread among the Jews until today.

And the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him. But some doubted.

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable to His death;

saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while He was living, After three days I will rise again. Then command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night and steal him away and say to the people, He has risen from the dead. So the last error will be worse than the first. Pilate said to them, You have a watch. Go and make it as secure as you can. read more.
And going they made the tomb secure, sealing the stone along with the guard.

And He opened their mind to understand the Scriptures. And He said to them, So it is written, and so it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

And behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, it being about sixty stadia from Jerusalem. And they talked to each other of all these things which had happened. And while they talked and reasoned, it happened that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. read more.
But their eyes were held so that they could not know Him. And He said to them, What words are these that you have with one another as you walk, and are so sad? And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answered and said to Him, Are you only a stranger in Jerusalem and have not known the things which have occurred there in these days? And He said to them, What things? And they said to Him, The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a man, a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to the judgment of death, and have crucified Him. But we had trusted that He was the One who was about to redeem Israel. And besides all this, today is the third day since these things were done. Yes, and also some of our women astounded us, having been early at the tomb; and when they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that He was alive. And some of those with us went to the tomb and found it even as the women had said. But they did not see Him. And He said to them, O fools and slow of heart to believe all things that the prophets spoke! Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory? And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. And they drew near the village where they were going. And He appeared to be going further. But they constrained Him, saying, Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is far spent. And He went in to stay with them. And it happened as He reclined with them, taking the loaf, He blessed it, and breaking it, He gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew Him. And He became invisible to them.

Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel,

But as they were going to report to His disciples, behold, Jesus also met them, saying, Hail! And they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.

For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in this name does this man stand before you whole. This is the Stone which you builders have counted worthless, and He has become the Head of the Corner.

And after eight days the disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said, Peace to you!

Afterward He appeared to the Eleven as they reclined. And He reproached their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

And they said, the Lord has indeed risen, and has appeared to Simon.

because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead.

After these things Jesus revealed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. And He revealed Himself this way:
