Think not that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfill. For truly do I say to you, Not till heaven and earth pass away, shall one jot or one tittle pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled. Whoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, will be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them, he will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Laying aside, the commandment of God, ye hold fast the tradition of men. And he said to them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition! The Law and the Prophets were till John; from that time the glad tidings of the kingdom of God have been published, and every one is forcing his way into it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one tittle of the law to fail.

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your Law, "I said, ye are gods"? If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came, and the Scripture cannot be made void, say ye of him whom the Father sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God?
