For the earnest expectation of the creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creation was brought into subjection to vanity not of its own will, but by reason of him who put it into subjection,

"After this I will return, and will rebuild the tabernacle of David which hath fallen; and I will rebuild its ruins, and will set it up; that the rest of men may seek after the Lord, and all the gentiles, who have been called by my name, saith the Lord, who doeth these things,

in hope that even the creation itself will be set free from the bondage of corruption and brought into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

"Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy king cometh to thee, meek, and riding on an ass, and on a colt the foal of a beast of burden."
