9 Bible Verses about Law, Ten Commandments

And be ye not idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, "The people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play."

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father, who is in heaven:

For God commanded saying, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, He that revileth father or mother, let him be put to death:

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honour thy father and thy mother, (which is the first commandment with promise,) that it may be well with thee, and thou shalt be long-lived upon the earth.

Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is not defiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

What shall we say then? is the law sin? God forbid! Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust to be sinful, if the law had not said, "Thou shalt not covet."

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
