He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God, whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God, love his brother also.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and every one who loveth him that begat, loveth him also that is begotten of him. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment as ye have heard from the beginning, that ye may walk in it.

Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
