And, as He was already drawing nigh to the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples, rejoicing, began to praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they saw; saying, "Blessed is the King Who is coming in the name of the Lord! Peace in Heaven, and glory in the highest!"
Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear; for, verily, our God is a consuming fire.
To which end we also pray for you always, that our God may account you worthy of your calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and work of faith, with power; that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and ye in Him, according to the grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ.
Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly desires, which, indeed, war against the soul; having your conduct seemly among the gentiles; that, wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, they may, from your good works which they behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
and before the throne, as it were a glassy sea like crystal; and, in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. And the first living creature was like a lion; and the second living creature like a calf; and the third living creature having a face as of a man; and the fourth living creature was like an eagle flying. And the four living creatures, having each one of them six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and they have no rest, day and night, saying, "Holy! Holy! Holy! the Lord God, the Almighty, Who was, and Who is, and Who is coming!"read more.
And, when the living creatures shall give glory and honor and thanksgiving to Him Who sitteth on the throne??o Him Who liveth forever and ever, the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him Who sitteth on the throne, and will worship Him Who liveth forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, "Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because Thou didst create all things; and, because of Thy will, they were, and were created."
And I saw as it were a glassy sea mingled with fire; and those who were victorious over the beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, standing by the glassy sea, having harps of God. And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are Thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are Thy ways, Thou King of the ages. Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? because Thou only art holy; because all the nations shall come, and worship before Thee; because Thy righteous acts were made manifest."
which in His own times the Happy and Only Potentate will show, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Who only hath immortality, inhabiting light unapproachable, Whom no man ever saw or is able to see; to Whom be honor and dominion eternal. Amen.
For neither doth the Father judge any one, but all judgment He hath given to the Son; that all may honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father Who sent Him.
Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom ye have from God, and that ye are not your own? For ye were bought with a price; glorify God, therefore, in your body.
Now to the King of the ages, incorruptible, invisible, only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
After these things I saw, and, behold, a great multitude, which no one could number, out of every nation, and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands; and they cry with a great voice, saying, "Salvation to our God, Who sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb!" And all the angels stood around the throne, and around the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God,read more.
saying, "Amen. The blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honor, and the power, and the strength, be to our God forever and ever. Amen!"
