"And brother will deliver up brother to death; and father, his child; and children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye will be hated by all, for My name's sake; but he who endures to the end, the same shall be saved.

Remember the prisoners, as bound with them; those ill-treated, as being yourselves also in the body.

And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear Him Who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.

Then said Jesus to His disciples, "If any one wishes to come after Me, let him disown himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me; for whosoever wishes to save his soul shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose his soul for My sake shall find it;

Then Paul answered, "What are ye doing, weeping and crushing my heart? For I am ready, not only to be bound, but to die at Jerusalem, for the name of the Lord Jesus."
