21 Bible Verses about Moral Decay

For the creation has been subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of the one who subjected [it], in hope

A heart of tranquility [is] life [to the] flesh, but causes bones of passion to rot.

For it is necessary [for] this perishable [body] to put on incorruptibility, and this mortal [body] to put on immortality.

Therefore we do not lose heart, but even if our outer person is being destroyed, yet our inner [person] is being renewed day after day.

And I replied a second [time] and asked him, "What [are] these two twigs of olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?"

And just as they did not see fit {to recognize God}, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do the things [that are] not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greediness, malice, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malevolence. A woman of strength [is] the crown of her master, but like rot in his bones is she who brings shame.

And I will break down the wall that you covered [with] whitewash, and I will knock it to the ground, and its foundation will be revealed, and it will fall, and you will come to an end in the midst of it, and you will know that I [am] Yahweh!

[that] you take off, according to your former way of life, the old man, who is being destroyed according to deceitful desires,

because the one who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
