And when they had eaten their fill, he said to his disciples, "Gather up the fragments left over, that nothing may be lost."

now I rejoice, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance; for you became sorrowful as God intended, so that you suffered no loss through us.

This happened so that the words which he had spoken would be fulfilled, "Of those whom you gave me I have lost none."
