and he opened the pit of the abyss. And there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Jesus saith, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith to him, Lord, by this time the body is offensive; for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith to her, Did I not tell thee, that if thou wouldst believe, thou shouldst see the glory of God? They therefore took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father! I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

But on the first day of the week Mary the Magdalene cometh early, while it was yet dark, to the tomb, and seeth that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

And they said to one another, Who will roll away for us the stone from the door of the tomb? And looking up they see that the stone had been rolled back; for it was very large.

And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb;

and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of holy men that slept, arose,
