And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass shall fall into it;

And thither were all the flocks gathered: and they rolled the stone from the well's mouth and watered the sheep, and put the stone again upon the well's mouth in its place.

Then said Joshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring those five kings to me out of the cave.

Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith to him, Lord, by this time his body is offensive: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith to her, Said I not to thee, that if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me:

The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, to the sepulcher, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulcher.

And they said among themselves, Who shall roll away for us the stone from the door of the sepulcher? (And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away) for it was very great.

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.

And the graves were opened, and many bodies of saints who slept, arose,
