Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you: For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, the door shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask bread, will give him a stone?read more.
Or if he shall ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

And all things whatever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye may ask what ye will, and it shall be done to you.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

And in that day ye will ask me nothing: Verily, verily, I say to you, Whatever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto ye have asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

Offer to God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows to the Most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thy ear to hear:

Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou shalt afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry:

For he hath looked down from the hight of his sanctuary; from heaven hath the LORD beheld the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.

And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people; and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Therefore I say to you, Whatever things ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Again I say to you, That if two of you shall agree on earth, concerning any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
